At Shepherd Hill Farm,  we pride ourselves on bring honest and getting back to what the Quarter Horse was originally bred for VERSATILITY!

We have slowly built out broodmare band up to ten mares consisting of daughters of Castle Magic (TB),  Kay Cee Leaguer, Investment Asset, and other point earning and producing mares.

We are fortunate to stand four great stallions. Zippo Illini, a buckskin/dun son of Zippo Pat Bars, that has not only sired some nice show horses, but is the sire of some of our young replacement broodmares. Hotroddin, a son of Hotrodders Jet Set, and out of the great show mare, Prissy Mistress. "Radar" is the perfect fit for our program. Not only does he have points in five events, but he a proven sire of horses that can show in multiple events! Confider, our TB stallion is a proven sire of appendix show horses that are winners!  And out latest addition to our stallion line up is Kelvis,  17.1 hand gray stallion, with 49.5 AQHA points, 4th 1996 AQHA World Show Jr Working Hunter 4th place. Kelvis is the sire of champions!
