Shepherd Hill Farm is the home of five outstanding stallions that are putting Versatility  back in the quarter horse!

At Shepherd Hill Farm,  we pride ourselves on being honest and getting back to what the Quarter Horse was originally bred for: VERSATILITY!

We have slowly built our broodmare band up to ten mares, consisting of daughters of Castle Magic (TB),  Kay Cee Leaguer, Investment Asset, and other point-earning and producing mares.

We are fortunate to stand five great stallions. Zippo Illini, a buckskin/dun son of Zippo Pat Bars, has not only sired nice show horses, but is the sire of some of our young replacement broodmares. Hotroddin, a son of Hotrodders Jet Set, and out of the great show mare, Prissy Mistress, is the perfect fit for our program. Not only does he have points in five events, but he is a proven sire of horses that can show in multiple events. Confider, our TB stallion, is a proven sire of appendix show horses that are winners. Kelvis,  a 17.1 hand gray stallion, with 49.5 AQHA points, and was 4th in the 1996 AQHA World Show Jr Working Hunter division. Kelvis is the sire of many champions.  And our latest addition to our stallion line-up is Only By Invite, a son of Invitation Only out of a daughter of Zippo Pine Bar. Buster is a full sibling to horses that have earned over 460 pts, $38,000 and multiple top ten placings at the AQHA World show. We are excited about his future here at Shepherd Hill Farm.
